We went on a Sunday, so the main courses echoed the fashion for Carvery roasts, but were plentiful in quantity and of good quality.The starters were spectacular - if, for example, you're used to prawn cocktail being six prawns on half-a-wineglass of lettuce, you'll be surprised at the plate-full of prawns you get at the Bothy!We were too full to try the puddings, but other tables' servings looked good.The service is attentive while remaining discreet.

5 stars for our dinner at The Bothy this evening. Quality local produce, steaks particularly very good and amazing Belgian chocolate and cherry waffle. Service excellent. Highly recommended.
