Fantastic pub with very friendly service, real ale, real fire what more could you want. Well just try the food, massive menu, huge portions, very reasonable, could not fault anything. I'd recommend and will definitely return, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
I used to live in Weston Rhyn for 4 years and I’d never once been to this pub, moved out and tried it for the first time last night, and honestly it was one of the nicest meals I’ve had! We had a lovely friends night out and all had 3 courses and it was so cheap!! I had vegetable soup to start and I wasn’t sure what to expect… nicest vegetable soup I think I’ve ever tasted, it was so creamy, I could have easily eaten it for started, main and desert. What a great traditional pub. I visited last night with Barnton squash team as we were playing away at Brookside Leisure Park and we came here for supper. The food (roast pork sandwiches and chips) was superb, the open fire was roaring and the ale (Tetleys) was smooth. And, service with a smile.Highly recommended.Parking: Next to the pub. Plenty of space.
