I’ve frequently visited this place with my partner, and we love it. The food is incredible and the Sunday Roasts are amazing . We bring our dog Roux and even he gets to eat something, today he had the roast beef end cuts which he loved. The people are so friendly and we’re really made to feel very welcome. Great pub. Lovely food ... Good range of beer, wines and gin. Friendly staff. Very dog friendly and good children's menu. All very reasonably priced. Will DEFINITELY come back.

This picture was taken from the outside tables looking across to Chirk viaduct and aquaduct.Food was good with large portions, be sure you really want it if ordering a large Sunday roast as it's very large ?. Friendly atmosphere and staff.You can park just up the road from the pub and walk to and across the aquaduct, well worth doing. You will be in noman's land at one point as you stand between England and Wales
