Couldn't wish for more. Inside dining, lovely outside seating a cosy upstairs and Fabulous food. The staff are hugely friendly and good choice of food. Will be back again and again.......
Our whole experience with The Almshouse tea shop was great from start to finish. We did make a few specific requests and had to make a change to the date of our booking due to illness but nothing was too much trouble. The lady I dealt with was lovely, as were all the staff. The tea shop is in a gorgeous setting and there were lots of beautiful details inside that made it lovely and unique. The afternoon tea was delicious and made with very high quality ingredients. Absolutely gorgeous! Visited with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea- the sandwiches were freshly made, the scones were undoubtedly the best I’ve had and it was so tricky to chose between the array of delicious cakes. Warm and friendly welcome and excellent service. Thank you so much.
