Great location on Axebridge square, with a decent sized, comfortable and quiet room for a family. The staff were all really nice and super helpful. Superb breakfast! We look forward to visiting again next year.

Loved it. Perfect location. Lovely comfortable room. Tea and coffee with fridge and coffee maker. Lovely vegan and vegetarian breakfast. Bar is very nice with nice decor. The shower was lovely and hot. My room was in a perfect spot to watch over the square. The were also kind enough to let me put my bike just inside the building overnight but there are bike spaces just outside on the square. Lovely helpful staff.

We have recently stayed at The Oak House Hotel and were left feeling a little disappointed. The hotel is in a lovely setting and we booked via booking.com where it was advertised as 5 star and a 5 minute drive to Cheddar Gorge however we personally would not agree with this rating and it is more of a 30 minute drive to Cheddar Gorge.
