“From Bath and visiting the area for the weekend and what a treat to find this pub close by…just come back from the Hood Arms and had one of the best meals out we’ve ever had.Goats cheese mousse was phenomenal, the ribeye the nicest we’ve tried and fabulous triple cooked chips. Oh and let’s not forget tempura battered onion rings! ?. All next level.Lovely, friendly staff and owners who added to our enjoyable evening. Thanks to Lou for being warm, funny and interesting. And male owner (sorry didn’t ask your name!) was also lovely.Thanks for a fantastic meal and evening to the talented young chef and rest of the team. Will come back whenever we are back in the area for sure! ?”

“On the busiest night of Bridgewater me and my family come to the restaurant in need of a table and the staff did everything they could to fit us in which was absolutely amazing! Didn't feel like we was getting rushed out the door either. The service was brilliant all the staff were polite and could not be more helpful if they tried, the food came out well presented and cooked to perfection the whole family enjoyed there experience at the restaurant and will definitely be recommending the restaurant to others.”

“Food is absolutely fantastic the steaks are cooked to perfection and how on earth they bring 11 steaks out all at the same time and cooked perfectly is beyond me the cheesecake is also one of the best I’ve ever had.”

“Had a lunchtime pizza and it was so full that we had to share, best pizza I’ve had since being in Italy. The staff here are welcoming and friendly. We sat in the bar area which is a little sparse but comfortable. Second visit for drinks but certainly going back for evening meal and taking our friends.”

“Really interesting dishes that for me were unusual and tasty. As an example the garlic prawns came in a tomato soup which was good on its own! The kebabs were also deconstructed and had a rich sauce rather than pitta and roasted veg. Worth giving a try but be patient with the staff.”

“Awesome hosts and staff, very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. My room was a nice cozy space with an extremely comfortable bed. I found the floors to be very creaky (Normal for the type of building) which made me conscious of neighboring guests but it didn't put a damper on my experience. I will definitely be back but for longer next time.”

“What a great place. All of the staff were friendly & interacted with the guests, they made a great fuss of our dog ( which he loved) nothing was to much trouble. On arrival we was checked in quickly, an taken to our room. The room was a comfortable size, very clean, good extras in the bathroom, and the towels were the whitest/ fluffiest we have had in a while. There is tray with tea/ coffee on it & biscuits. The TV is of good size. My only blip would be the pillows, not great, but we had a great night sleep, as the bed was large & comfortable. The food is amazing………breakfast has a large section, I found something different to have over our four day stay ( could do with a larger section of cereal) & perhaps offer toast & marmalade. Evening meal, we also had at the Inn, the meat pie is wonderful, as was the sticky toffee pudding ?? husband really loved the gammon & eggs. Plenty of car park spaces. This Inn is really great for travelers with dogs, as they have thought of everything. We had a lovely four day stay, with our dog, exploring Somerset from the Inn, knowing we could come back to a great meal, and home from home comforts making out stay a lot more comfortable. Well done to all the staff.”
