If I stay at a hotel, I want and expect cleanliness and good food always - The Apple Tree Hotel delivers on these fronts and so much more. The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere - love that. Simon is the perfect host, welcoming and engaging with a wealth of knowledge of the surrounding areas. He is also a fantastic chef and both our breakfasts and evening meal were first class and taken in the beautiful conservatory restaurant. Awesome hosts and staff, very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. My room was a nice cozy space with an extremely comfortable bed. I found the floors to be very creaky (Normal for the type of building) which made me conscious of neighboring guests but it didn't put a damper on my experience. I will definitely be back but for longer next time.
