Big thanks to The Compass for enabling a great family gathering on Boxing Day! A warm, welcoming and friendly pub with good value buffet food, and a lovely area reserved for the 35 of us. Thanks particularly to Andrea and Tash for their help organising the event and accommodating the gradual rise in numbers in the run up to Christmas! Thanks & best wishes to all for 2024.
Really lovely place for a Friday evening meal. We live just down the road in Taunton and been wanting to come in for a while. Waitress was friendly, Tasha and made us feel welcome. Food was good and we will come back again. Thank you.

This was by far one of the nicest meals that we have experienced. The pub was clean, well decorated, and spacious.Hazel and Zoe were lovely. The meals that we ordered were hot and well presented.Very generous portions. We were particularly impressed with the fact that the chef came and checked our meals were OK. Lovely surroundings, friendly efficient staff and tasty, fresh food...what more does anyone want!!!!!
