We had traveled to the area as visiting the Haynes Museum just up the road. We had originally planned to eat at another local pub but walked out after a lack of service and poor atmosphere. Popped in for lunch yesterday after checking out the Catash website and good reviews for their food. We were not disappointed! This traditional pub is in the lovely village of North Cadbury and although the pub could do with a bit of TLC and maybe a spot of background music - my goodness, it certainly makes-up for that with the friendliness of the owners and the quality (and excellent value!) of the food! Nice place, we stayed here for free with the motorhome for a night. And decided to eat something in the Pub. The daughter of the owner was very funny and told us where we could park and go if we wanted some drinks/food. The only downside for us was the weedwacker that came at 10 am and woke us up. This is probably just bad luck, so I wouldn't worry about it if you are coming for a visit.
