Restaurants in Castle Cary
Bay Tree
South St, Castle CaryReally nice place to eat and drink. Been there three times in the last month, Sunday lunchtime is great. Roast potatoes could be slightly more crispy. But otherwise fab. Good value as well. Tips are not included, to which you have the option to give at the end.

The White Hart
4 Fore St, Castle CaryWe went in for a pint on a chilly Monday evening. Warmly welcomed by friendly staff and chatty locals. Dog was welcomed too and was made a fuss of. Comfortable bar area, pub clearly two or three hundred years old. Not too noisy/busy for a cosy chat. Relaxing way to spend an hour or two. We’ll definitely be back when next in the area.

Castle Cary Kebab & Pizza House
4 Fore St, Castle CaryThat was a shame…we regularly order from here most weeks (oops!) however tonight was a total let down. Our order wasn’t what we’d call cheap at very nearly £30 and unfortunately the order was incorrect, after a little rudeness and a long 45 minute wait we did receive a replacement for it however it literally turnt up thrown in the pitta into a box and clearly it was an issue that they got our order wrong and had to redeliver it. We haven’t had an issue before and this was rather disappointing, the food is usually lovely and service has never been an issue before.
