Decent sized pub with a welcoming landlord and frequented by friendly locals. Nice and reasonably priced pub grub (Sunday roast highly recommended). Nice open fire that gets lit in the winter. Beer garden with kids play area out back. Car parking available.Very dog friendly, the 'help yourself' policy to the dog treats jar means your good boy or girl will get spoilt by the locals.
Support your local!Excellent pub in High Street Chard friendly staff, good tunes, good selection of beers and drinks and now serving bar snacks and food on certain days including lovely Sunday roasts... even more reason to pay a visit... #supportyourlocal
