We ate at the pub but did not stay so I cannot comment on the accommodation, but I must say the food was OUTSTANDING! Look at that beautiful plate of food! It tasted even better. Two of us went for an early evening Sunday meal. The menu was extensive and the prices were very reasonable. The specials board had some interesting options including Roast Lamb Chump and Roast Belly Pork, which we ordered with creamy mash, mixed veg and rich gravy. Really really good food at good prices too. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Felt like a family run pub for locals and visitors alike. Simply very good. We visited New Year’s Day when on holiday.
