We always have a wonderful time at the Quarry. A friendly village pub with proper classic pub food cooked as if you're at home. Dave & the team are excellent and always so accommodating. The Quarry also can make some dishes gluten free, including the Sunday roast, which is excellent for my mum who suffers with coeliac disease. We had a brilliant Sunday lunch today. Cheerful barman, great food, and a lovely warm fire.Kid-friendliness: Do child sized portions and happily allowed us to have an empty plate for our youngest to have a few bits of our meals on.
We visit this pub twice a week for a drink and a meal, all year round. I can honestly say, we have not had a bad meal once! When the landlord went on holiday, we tried various pubs in the surrounding areas and none were as cosy and welcoming as this one: and none could compare for food!
