Beautiful pub and outside area, staff friendly, quite a long wait for the food.Food a bit pricey for the potion you get, so make sure you have a starter as you come out skinner than you went in.

I had been told about this place but not managed to get to it until today. If you get stuck on a303 or just need a pit stop it is FAR better than many on the A303. It's a short diversion off at Podimore towards Somerton 2nd road on right then follow brown signs. Good car park friendly staff excellent menu using local ingredients. Not stupidly expensive well worth a look.
