Love the food here, but the young people in the shop are rather skimpy as of late with the portion sizes. I'd expect a full tray of curry sauce and chips and this is not the case as per the photo. If this doesn't improve I'll go elsewhere.
All round 5 stars from me, I had the Jumbo and chips and one of the best fish suppers I've had in years.Well cooked and fresh piece of cod, crispy batter not greasy (considering cooked in a fryer) and lovely chips, light and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.Great staff, very polite (even when I didn't read a sign saying cash only ?) even carried on with my order while I went a draw out money (most places would wait for you to come back with cash)I would definitely make...read full review

This is a pretty decent chippie if you're in the area and it does have the advantage of a captive audience! Our chips were hot and nicely cooked so none were wasted. Beware though that this is a cash only establishment which is surprising but at least there's an ATM next door.
