We stopped here on a whim for Sunday lunch - we hadn't booked so we had a 20 minute wait, but it was worth waiting for. We met up here with family who were staying in the area. I cannot praise the service and food highly enough. I had phoned ahead as I have an unusual food sensitivity, the owner was so helpful and when we arrived she had alerted the staff and they knew all about it. This is not a normal occurrence so it was such a treat. All the food is properly home cooked from local ingredients, accordingly you might have to wait a while but it’s absolutely worth it. A proper tea room. It's definitely worth stepping back in time. It's back in time so don't expect vegan newness. Veggy yes though.All homemade and delicious, don't need to say any more.100%.
