The classic pepperoni pizza here is a savory masterpiece, featuring a perfectly baked crust topped with generous, flavorful pepperoni. The menu's simplicity is its charm, allowing the authentic taste to shine. The ambiance is welcoming, providing a delightful setting to relish each mouthwatering bite. The staff's friendly service adds to the overall enjoyable dining experience. A fantastic spot for those who appreciate the timeless delight of a well-crafted pepperoni pizza.

Great little Italian restaurant with character and ambiance. The pizzas are very good with plenty of topping.

Extremely tasty Lasagne in a very popular and busy place. Great value but would recommend booking a table in advance. Well recommended.

Got takeaway pizza that was delicious. Little bit of a wait, but that's because they were busy, but worth it.I bet dining in as an even better experience.

We're not the best at booking so to be fitted in last minute was the best evening in ages. If you manage to get here make sure you get the minestrone it's one of the best versions of that soup I can get for miles.

Great service, great pizza. Would recommend and would certainly eat here again. Prices were very reasonable.

Great Pizza and restaurant, but they really should discount Take-aways though to compete with Domino's and Papa John's. I paid £39 for 3 takeout pizzas. Not that they aren't great, but you could probably get 3 bigger Pizzas from elsewhere for under £30.

Great service followed by great food. Reservations are recommended but we didn't realize that and they kindly fit us in. Very kid friendly too!Kid-friendliness: They have a smaller pizza for kids which is appreciated.

Best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Hubby absolutely loved his lasagne. Can’t recommend highly enough. Also very reasonable pricing,. The servers were lovely. We will definitely be back .

I've just had the most appalling dining experience due to one of the waitresses (dark hair) and her horrific attitude.I joined my friend late and pulled up a chair as her 2 person table didn't have the second chair. The table behind had no one dining at it, which didn't change for the majority of the meal. The waitress seemed to be outraged that I'd joined my friend late (I was putting up our tent). She took back the chair I was using and left me standing at the table, leaving me to search for another. Apparently the chair "belonged to the table behind" - the table with no one sitting at it!I had mentioned I wanted to order a drink. She refused to let me order when requested - totally ignored me.How is this waitress employed?! Someone needs to let her know about a thing called 'customer service'.My friend enjoyed her food hence the stars.Atmosphere was ruined due to this waitress' aggressive attitude. The one star for service should really be no stars.I finally got a friendly smile from the waiter who eventually took my drinks order.Probably a nice restaurant overall but given this bizarrely awful experience, won't be returning to risk another encounter with this abusive woman.

It’s like being in Italy in the 2000’s. The food is amazing and the staff will look after you and your family. Always had the best experience when visiting.

Food, wine & service excellent. Staff really look after you. Been lucky enough to visit Italian restaurants in northern Italy, the San Francisco Italian district, all over England inc London and Gigi's is still the best for me.

What a great Italian. Good service, although they were rushed off their feet. Always seems to be busy when I walk past. Took the family out, 7 of us. Everyone enjoyed the food, just some niggles (forgot our starters, drinks bill could have trippled if the service was more attentive) Serice was a bit hit and miss as they were so busy and seemed not enough staff, but isn't that the new norm?Typical English version of a great trattoria. Good pizza.Well worth a visit. I will of course be going back. No Vegan option, even just cheese on the pizza would be good.

Back in the day, Gigi’s had a bit of charm. But now it’s so outdated and the menu so uninspiring, I wouldn’t bother. When Papa Johns opened, I thought the extra competition would make Gigi’s up their game, but nope! There are no Vegan pizza options, but you can bring your own Vegan cheese in and they will use it (whilst looking at it very suspiciously like the waiter did with us)For some reason, the Timballo Vegetarian pizza comes with Carrots and White Onions on top! No idea why- unless it’s a speciality from their region in Italy, who knows? Nothing is explained. The pizza it’s self was mediocre. Nowhere near as good as your average Wood Fired Pizza van- which really is telling, seeing as they have been in business for decades and are being overshadowed by pop ups only opened recently. We ordered a bowl of Olives to start. Wow, they were AWFUL. This is none of your big, juicy, green Nocellara olives. Oh no! This is your small, soggy, sad looking black olives drowning in the brine from the tin. I’ve never seen such depressing olives! You want a non alcoholic drink? You have a choice of Coke, Fanta or Sprite. There’s no San Pellegrino Lemon or anything resembling an Italian soft drink! If cafes in Glastonbury High Street can manage it, why not here?I get the whole nostalgic look of the place, but the menu really needs to be brought up to modern standards, as frankly it really is poor. Maybe with their loyal following they’ve taken it easy, but my observations really are something they could take onboard to provide something better for their customers.
