Thorough enjoyed our platter and cider when we visited. We didn't have time to visit the Somerset Rural Life Museum itself, but were pleased to find that we could go into the Cafe without visiting the museum. Can't fault the quality of the food, good quality bread and cheeses used in my platter.

We spotted the cafe sign as we drove past and decided to pop in for lunch. The menu is not huge but has enough choice. I went for the ham n cheese toasty on granary…it was truly delicious. Packed with loads of filling it was toasted to perfection. Prices are very reasonable and service comes with a smile. Simple, efficient, with quality food and service. Go visit…
