The Bird in Hand

I went there with my cousin for evening meal. It is run by a South African lady Liz and her British partner Rob. The food was good. The decor inside is all South African . The staff were friendly , I recommend the pub.

The Angel Inn

Friendly staff and the age of the place and its previous use as a coach house give it plenty of character. Lots of birds flying in and out of the hay loft. Good burgers.

The Old Library

What a great transformation from one community building (library) to another (cafe bar). Very tastefully refurbished with a modern feel and fantastic food (I attended a private party there, and the selection and quality of the finger food was top notch!). Nice young staff were polite and smiley. This is a great place to meet, drink and eat if you're in and around Long Ashton.

La Campagna @ Winford Arms

Fantastic family friendly restaurant.All of us felt very welcomed from the moment we stepped in. The decor and atmosphere is simply fantastic.As for food we couldn’t complement it enough….Definitely worth spreading the word around and coming back soon !

Courtyard Cafe

Lovely cafe with toilets just outside. Great place to stop after a walk around.We enjoyed the soup of the day (£5.95, so a fair price) which was carrot, chickpea and sumac, and served with sourdough and butter. It was absolutely delicious!There's a few long bench seats inside like stables which are really nice, and then there's a range of other smaller tables inside, and a bunch of tables outside.

The George Inn

Called in on the way back from Bristol for lunchtime snackFriendly greeting from the staff. Choice of tables to sit atA member of staff came and took our drinks and food order. The menu offered a good choice of options.We all ordered paninis that were good.An uncomplicated and good experience.?
