Perfect meal for 9 of our party. The food was excellent and at a reasonable price as the quality of cooking was of a high standard. Food is locally sourced. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. It was a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to hurry our meal. Visited here due to the previous reviews. I had the special prawn masala and have to say it was very nice.Served quickly and friendly staff.Will look to come again.(Only downside was by the door and on a very cold night, but that can’t be helped, try and get a seat by the fires ?)

Compelled to review with thanks our experience at The Packhorse Inn following a wonderful lunch party with family meeting up before Christmas from across the world! Not only was the local ale and food most excellent in taste and quantity, but access to the more private dining lounge a real unexpected treat! Hil Nickell
