Church St, Mark, HighbridgeWe were pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the food and the service. From the outside and in terms of décor, it looks like a very traditional locals’ pub, and we completely misjudged it on first appearance.
The member of staff behind the bar was incredibly smiley, friendly and welcoming, which immediately set the tone for the evening. There was a lovely atmosphere — busy enough to feel lively, with a real fire going and low-volume music playing, but still relaxed and comfortable.
The food was absolutely incredible, with very generous portions. Honestly, it was the best meal out we’ve had in a very long time.
It’s also very practical for families and visitors, with baby changing facilities available. There’s free parking on site for around 10 cars, with additional on-street parking nearby, which made visiting really easy.
I don’t often take the time to leave reviews unless I’m genuinely impressed, but we both thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and would definitely recommend a visit.

The Causeway, Mark, AbbotsAmazing place! got married here and would like to say they went above and beyond for my wedding, food was amazing, beautiful garden setting, great atmosphere. I didn't do decorations for my wedding, but you'd think I had, as how they presented the dining table and outside area, it was a beautiful setting. I cannot thank White horse enough x
