“Visited this afternoon for a spontaneous roast dinner after a manic week! My partner had seen this pub on her travels to and from work so decided we’d visit. I had the beef and she has the veggie pie. Very good sized portions and piping hot! Meat was cooked beautifully and the beef melted in your mouth, spuds and yorkie was nothing special but lovely all the same. Her pie was again a good size, piping hot and very filling! We finished with the sticky toffee pudding and the chocolate fudge cake. Both absolutely lovely. Customer service was excellent and it was just a nice local pub, perfect for a Sunday afternoon.”
