Please disregard Alan Mannings review of the White Hart . He is temporarily barred from the premises along with his partner , therefore he has an axe to grind. I find his comment regarding the police ( which is totally untrue) ironic , as it was always him and his partner threatening to call them to the premises after they caused the initial problem with other customers . Wow, this place is improving at a rate of knots. I last went here about a year ago and it was a dismal local dive. Today, it was lively, friendly and had better beer on. It now has a river terrace where the river runs beneath. Will definitely be going back, probably tonight, provided they don't crank up the music to normal Midsomer Norton 'ear damage' volumes.
