Visited this afternoon for a spontaneous roast dinner after a manic week! My partner had seen this pub on her travels to and from work so decided we’d visit. I had the beef and she has the veggie pie. Very good sized portions and piping hot! Meat was cooked beautifully and the beef melted in your mouth, spuds and yorkie was nothing special but lovely all the same. Her pie was again a good size, piping hot and very filling! We visited on 2 occasions whilst in the area, Sunday lunch, which was amazing, and an evening meal later in the week, both meals were delicious, very good value for money, staff were very friendly and welcoming, just wish it was nearer to where we live!

Excellent landlord always greeted and remembers us as this pub is our local.Lovely staff and meals are very enjoyable and good value!Kid-friendliness: Can I say the little chi a nice friendly pub if you like a drink with your doggy!
