“I stayed one night for a diving course at Vobster Quay. The Fromeway is at a very good location about 10 miles from VQ. Room was very clean and modern and quiet at night. Food was also very good at the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful and got up early to make me breakfast at 7am ahead of my course in the morning! “We stayed at the Redan Inn as a base for our two day trip to Bath. The inn is about 30 minutes drive from the centre of Bath which was very convenient and worked for us. We stayed in the room at the top of the inn which was large and spacious with a beautiful bathroom - a lovely freestanding bath and double width shower. The room was clean and comfortable and the beds were soft - we had a good night’s sleep. The breakfast choice is good and cooked fresh to order which was great in the morning. We also had dinner here on one night and were very impressed with the quality of the food - for a very reasonable price! The second night we tried a different restaurant and were very disappointed in comparison with the food at the Redan. The pork belly and the Eton Mess gets a particular shout out! All the staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. There is a lovely outdoor space to eat and drink in when the weather permits, with fairy lighting which is lovely in the summer. The parking is right behind the inn which was very convenient and felt more secure than roadside parking. Would 100% recommend and will be returning - thank you!”
