We booked to stay at the Redan Inn for one night and we're really excited as the reviews looked amazing. The pub itself is lovely and the food was delicious - rather large portions but the quality of the food was great, especially the home made bread. The reason for 3 stars is because of the mishaps when arriving. Very nice food but service poor. Had to wait ages for “ nibbles “ ( olives and bread with oil and balsamic vinegar ) , and then the main meal.Food & drinks: Delicious food and hot.

I like this place. Nice rooms. Good hospitality and good evening meal. Location loses 1 star as there's nothing else close and you need to drive but it does make for a quiet location.
