There is stiff competition in a city of tea rooms and coffee shops, but Pickwicks stands out from the crowd and has never let us down. It always seems to be busy, but the attentive staff are well able to deal with lots of customers and treat everybody with the same courtesy and good humour. The food is of an excellent standard, particularly the home baked cakes and seasonal items, and the coffee is very good. We can thoroughly and unreservedly recommend Pickwicks.”

“I remember being taken here by my parents as a toddler (the spiral staircase fascinated me!), and thirty years on I still make an effort to visit whenever I'm in Wells. I highly recommend the apricot oaties, extremely tasty! The jacket potatoes are also a must. Best eatery in Wells for sure!”
