Hayfield lakes, Hayfield Ln, Auckley, DoncasterWe had a takeaway from Hayfield Bar and Grill and oh my goodness some of the best food we have ever had, portions were huge, food was hot and everything tasted amazing. We will be back- would recommend to anyone!

24 Main St, Auckley, DoncasterJohn in the kitchen really knows what he is doing with his meat. It tasted delicious, I couldn't stop putting it in my mouth. Was really big as well I didn't think I could fit it all in. Once I finished I felt really satisfied and couldn't believe how amazing it was. Only thing I would say is it was a bit messy as when I finished I noticed it was all over me with some even dribbling down my chin. Thankyou John for ensuring I had a great time. Best steak pie in Doncaster

Wilds Café Bistro
The Yorkshire Hive, Hurst Ln, Auckley, DoncasterHad drinks and dinner on the evening. The food and drink was excellent as so was the service from the staff. Following morning I went in for breakfast and again everything was very good indeed. For me personally I had an excellent experience.

Evolution Experience Restaurant
Hurst Ln, Auckley, DoncasterListen, it wasn't that bad! We went with low expectations of the food. Knew the experience would be great for the kids but expected naff food. In all honesty, the food was actually good; not gourmet obviously but did the job.
Kids menu was a bit weak, would like to see more adventurous dishes on there. Not all kids like to eat breaded and battered offerings. Plus, the pasta options were poor.
At the end of the day, you're paying for the experience. Think, Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex at Disney. Was really good fun. The kids absolutely loved it and could have stayed in there for hours.
I've seen reviews complaining that there were only four different interactive experiences that happened on repeat. What do people actually want? A scientifically restored dinosaur to come and serve them their food? It was belting and better than a lot of family-orientated restaurants.
