Driven past this place lots of times always thinking we need to try it, so today we did after my daughter recommended it. Absolutely lovely. We were warmly greeted on arrival, give a table for 2 with great views of the lake. Ordered a latte, 2 full English breakfasts, a tea, orange juice and water. Nice restaurant and pleasant staff but a bit clueless regarding veganism. No non-dairy milk for tea/coffee and offered regular coleslaw. I did call ahead of visiting as there are sometimes difficulties but still encountered problems despite this. Just got home from a lovely family lunch at the Bullrush Bistro in Barnburgh. Excellent food well presented by efficient knowledgeable staff. We even took a takeaway lunch home for our son. As a family we had a mixture of food and all dishes were top class and cooked to order. Well done The Bullrush. Lovely to have such a lovely place within walking distance
