Road weary, I needed to feed the family on a budget. Traditional old school chippy, rare and special find. Very affordable. Fantastic portions supported by lovely banter from the two lovely ladies serving. Well worth hunting down. The food was proper fish and home cut chips. Top tip: cash only.Kid-friendliness: Very happy to cater to your kids requests.
Only discovered this hidden gem within the last 12 months and wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Traditional Fish & Chip shop where your fish is cooked to order - 3 sizes to pick from. Fabulous dark batter and delicious chips that aren’t dry. Large fish regular chips and large peas for under £10 means it’s also incredible value, especially these days. Family owned and run. Give it a visit, we need to keep old fashioned chippies open
