We were gifted this dining experience as a wedding present and on arrival found the Old Vicarage to be a beautiful venue with delightful grounds. On booking, they had been told I was vegetarian but seemed unaware of this on my arrival as I was presented with the meat menu. At the end of the meal we were told the bill would be produced. Fantastic food in a relaxed ambience. Real quality The array of dishes was superb with combinations we hadn’t had before Small quaint but sophisticated dining room Staff were friendly and informative Surroundings were lovely in the atmospheric old Vicarage Had the superior menu and wine pairings. So so good Can recommend enough

This has to my favourite restaurant of all time, the food is always amazing and the Andrew's wine knowledge is breathtaking and he is so passionate. The food packs so much flavour and texture in every dish. This is a gem in not just Yorkshire but the UK
