The Boars Head Hotel
Station Rd, Draycott in the Clay, AshbourneAn absolute gem ,one of our favourite places to stay . Food is excellent,so lovely to have home cooked meals with good sourced produce . Staff always so friendly and go above and beyond ,whatever you need just ask and it's done . They accommodate our very large family get together every year for the races.We have used this hotel for 30 years,several times a year and would not go anywhere else . Thankyou all again for helping us make special memories xRooms: Large beds so clean sleep like a log .Food & drinks: The best ,so tasty and loved the steak and ale pie ....good homemade food . Puddings sooo moorish .

The Swan Inn
Main Rd, Draycott in the Clay, AshbourneA very friendly country pub with a good selection of beers. The food menu is extensive and they seem to specialise in pies. Not eaten there yet so cant advise, but I see no reason not

Sweet Little Cafe
Joiners Shop, 64 Main Rd, Sudbury, AshbourneLovely little cafe in a quaint environment. Good coffee, only complaint would be that it took about 10 minutes to get me my cappuccino, which seems a bit of a long time to me!
