Good real ale selection and great food. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff , ended up staying most of the afternoon.Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly with a well priced children's menu.
A superb 3 course Sunday Roast. The beef melted in the mouth, the mash was smooth and buttery and the gravy was rich and full of meaty deliciousness.As for the drink selection, they have one of the finest ale selections I've seen for a long time, and I could have happily sat near the fire drinking ale until closing.

First time here in years for dinner. The refurb looks fab. Looks like they spent well.We had a warm welcome and although the ales were unknown to me, the Camden Stout was a winner! Our meals were served hot and freshly prepared. No complaints from anyone, which these days is quite unusual. I had duck, there was a steak meal and two pie of the day specials. With drinks and two puddings it came in just over £100.We left full, happy, and will be back soon.
