Bar • “A beautiful venue, tastefully and elegantly furnished with pleasing background music.Professional, observant staff who noticed when a glass needed filling be it with wine or water.Absolutely delicious food from the starter of complimentary bread and seasoned butters to the final mouthful.Everything was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked, we opted for the 3 course a la carte menu at an all inclusive price of £45.00 and were very pleased with the options. One guest, being lactose intolerant, was very impressed with the thoughtfulness of the staff on her behalf.My only concern and it's probably because I'm not familiar with the etiquette of fine dining, was how very small the portions were.Between 4 of us we had 5 glasses of wine, 2 bottles of water and 2 x £10.00 "upgrades" for the duck option. We paid £67.00 each plus gratuities. Fairly expensive by our normal standards but we did have a wonderful time.Thank you.Dietary restrictions: One guest, lactose intolerant had dishes designed for her, although she did need to order prior to our visit to enable the staff to prepare.Parking: Parking is available on site, lots of spaces and only a very short distance from the main entrance.”

Bar • “Fantastic food. Everything came out hot, not warm like some places. Even let us change things to our order. Guy behind the bar called josh, was friendly, hard working, polite and nothing too much trouble. My friend had lasagne off the specials board and it's was chunky mets pieces not mince so pleasantly surprised. Definitely returning back. Well done guys x”
Bar • “Beautiful venue, surrounded by lush countryside.The pub part of the venue is quiant and charming. It's great to see the old fashioned pub billiards/skittles tooThe room I stayed in was a double and it was massive. King size bed, spacious and clean. I think it was £130 for the night which isn't cheap but it was a good roomOverall all the staff were very polite and friendly. The staff at reception in particular were excellent and have only great things to say. The reason I have marked service to 2 stars, is that I left a pack of ciggerettes on a table, which was collect by staff but when the staff went to return them, said they couldn't find them. Which I believe. Not impressed at all, and the only negative I experienced.Overall great venue, and would recommendRooms: Clean and large sized roomsFood & drinks: Bit pricey at £4.50-£5.00 a pint”
