Awesome little real ale pub!!! As authentic as they come! Old school pub with an old school feel, great friendly bar staff and great local beer ? outside beer garden is massive and live music is on throughout the year. Steeped in history this is an amazing pub for anyone visiting leek
Fantastic pub, although certainly not to everyone's taste. Drinks only, no food. Real ale is excellent, primary from Whim . Try the IPA. Background music is interesting and eclectic. They do live music sometimes. Very friendly atmosphere.

We had a very enjoyable evening playing pool and had some very good ale's. Attractively undermodernised public house with a central bar, central heating from the stone age and very welcoming wobbling stools. If you want a good night out with your muso dope head friends then this is a good place to go to before a kebab next door. I went in once and passed out twice. Highly Recommended
