Only stopped to ask directions to a car park for a family walk. Took the rest of the family in for lunch & a drink after a long drive. The staff were very welcoming. The food was amazing & well priced. Very pretty pub with a beautiful display of flowers. The garden & the seating at the front of the pub offered pleasant surroundings. We just had to return after our long walk for a refreshing drink prior to our drive home. Thank you to everyone at The Red Lion.

Lovely finish to our walk at Cannock Chase. We arrived about 15 minutes late but thankfully our table was still saved for us & the dogs. Everyone was very friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be back, thank you :-)

What an amazing place I had the pie it was Devine clearly home made every bite left you wanting more. The beer was great fantastic night out thank you guys Ali our server was great can’t praise enough
