Visited yesterday and again today with my friend, connagh the duty manager is so friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious will definitely be back, compliments to the chef. The 2 meals for £14.49 were definitely good value.

First time I’ve been to this Green King Pub today (03/11/23) and was pleasantly surprised. The pub is large and airy, yet surprisingly warm, the staff were lovely (shout out to Alex and Sarah). The drink was excellent and we ordered food from the two mains for 14.49 of gammon. It was a lovely thick piece too, the food was excellent. Well done to the chef and all the staff

Fancied a pub lunch and thought we would come here. I used to come here drinking in my younger years before heading into Newcastle, it was the meet up place. So walking through the doors 37 years later was a walk back into time. Obviously it's changed, but the reminders were there. It was quiet, which mid week I didn't expect it to be bursting at the seams. We both had Ciabatta sandwiches and sides plus a drink which were really nice.
