We stayed in the gorgeous AirBnB apartment upstairs and we had a few drinks and a meal on our first night. The food was amazing, a really inclusive and varied, interesting menu, all cooked to order. The beer garden is fabulous, and the pub & restaurant are tastefully & sympathetically decorated.The chef patron and partner are a lovely young, enthusiastic couple who bring their worldly charm to this convenient little village pub.I'd recommend eating, drinking and staying here...read full review

Lovey, fresh, well prepared food. A mix of exotic and traditional dishes on the menu. Interesting deserts. Friendly and welcoming. Surprised how quiet this was for a Saturday night. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back

Dropped in for their bangers and cider festival at the weekend - impossible to resist. Great choice of both food and drink, all brought in from around the country. Rare to find such attention to detail in your local: Brayn and Zara’s usual high standards. Lovely atmosphere too, despite the wet weather. Can honestly say it melted my Herts.
