I’ve been here a few times now with family and friends and enjoyed the experience. It’s a very popular cafe, so always best to book. I’ve had their full English Breakfast each time I’ve visited and been very satisfied. Today not wanting a big meal, I went for a toastie. It was generously filled in my choice of bread, lots of dressed salad and a pile of crisps. The atmosphere is great too. First visit here and wont be last really good ploughmans for lunch. Huge double tent with aeroplane wings for tables lots of quirky decor also double decker bus outside with table. You can watch light aircraft takeoff and land as well as people parachute jumping.
We are regular visitors to the venue and when we needed a venue for the celebration of life following cremation at Ellough decided to speak to them to see if it was possible. Well it was and they did a superb job. We hired the big Teepee tent which was an ideal size for the 50 people we expected. We left all the catering arrangements to them after saying a few things we would like on buffet and were not disappointed and there was a huge spread with regular top ups of sandwiches...read full review
