I have been coming to the Cod House regularly and have always considered it a cut above the rest in the area. I have invariably had great fish and chips here. However, this Saturday the haddock and chips even exceeded their already high standard. Very fresh fish cooked to perfection. The chips, mushy peas were also great. The service was, as usua, friendly and efficient. Well done and thank you.
Always get great service and food from this takeaway. The chips are simply awesome and a curry sauce to die for. The fish is always crispy and cooked well and my wife assures me the sausages in batter are as good too. I look forward to using this chippy for a long time.

The food was very tasty. I awarded one less star for service because the staff all seemed very good except for the lady who served us . my husband and I wanted 2 cod and one portion of chips , we were going to eat them down by the boats so we wanted salt and vinegar on one and just salt on the other , it all seemed too much of an effort for her , I asked for some vinegar in a little pot , another member of staff kindly obliged .
