Small but very welcoming courtyard cafe. Dog ? friendly, Excellent service, very friendly made us feel very welcome. Stopped for a cuppa ? tea & some Amazing Homemade cheese scones. A Hidden Gem ?
Stopped here before our day of walking in the countryside. Ordered freshly baked scones and drinks. The cheese scones were filling and packed with cheese, the best I’ve tried. A relaxing atmosphere and I can’t wait to visit again.

Looking for some where with outside seating and dog friendly we found this place down an alley from the busy high street right near the castle. It's a hidden gem. Outside seating with under cover area away from the busy road. I had coffee and the mushroom and stilton toastie hubby had fruit scone with jam and cream. Both were delicious.Friendly staff made us feel welcome and very dog friendly which is a bonus.Now we found this place we will definitely use again.
