Called in without booking and was offered a choice of tables. Lovely decor and really nice ambience.Our waitress was welcoming, attentive and helpful, drinks arrived within a few minutes and the food served soon after which we thoroughly enjoyed, prices are very reasonable. Stayed here previously and the room were good. This stay the rooms had been refurbed a few weeks before and they were amazing. Very plush, stylish and modern bathroom facilities with an incredible double shower. The bed was super comfortable, all the amenities you could ask for including a pod coffee machine and a gigantic TV. Would happily recommend this as a place to stay to anyone.

Food & drinks: Seven of us visited for a meal after attending panto at theatre just a few minutes walk away (previously reserved a table). The pub/restaurant was very busy but the food/service was spot on. The ribeye steak was amazing - cooked as requested (medium rare). The best steak I've had in a very long time. Highly recommend this place.
