Great old fashioned pub without the sawdust. Pub garden out the back which is great during those long nights. Fridays and Saturdays are best as they open longer hours. Great range of cask ales with around 5 barrels on offer all the time.Well worth the visit !
Thank God for one decent and traditional drinking pub in Bury St Edmunds. The landlord and his staff are friendly, the toilets are clean and you're not surrounded by people eating.

Fantastic traditional British pub on the outskirts of the town centre.Well maintained cask ales and lagers with bar snacks available. A friendly atmosphere throughout from the main bar, back bar and courtyard garden. We had our wedding reception here and could not thank Gordon and Claire enough for their hospitality.
