Excellent food - would recommend the brinjal bhaji and the dansak. The food is really well seasoned and spiced, not overpowering and not greasy. We both had starters, sides, curry, rice, nan, poppudum and drinks for under £50 - very reasonable for a feast! Service was great - the restaurant was completely full and we didn't feel rushed at all.
I've been meaning to write about Voujon for a while as it's a fantastic and authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of Bury St. Edmunds that I've been to and had takeaway from a few times now. The four of us are big on sharing and naturally skipped lunch so we could immerse ourselves in their fantastic range of food. The food at this restaurant was very good. We ordered the lamb biryani & lamb vindaloo. There hours are also perfect for someone who wants eat dinner after 7 pm. Thanks Hassan for customer service & food recommendations.
