Only 1 ale on, kept well. The pub had lots going on across the week, like darts, karaoke and live music.
A great local village boozer.
Would like to spend a Friday night there!

19 Stowmarket Rd, Great Blakenham, IpswichWent here with a work colleague early evening. We hadn't booked and thought we would just chance it. When we arrived the car park was full. Thought we wouldn't get a table but went in anyway. We were told that we would have to wait a while. 20 mins later we were sat at a table upstairs. A lovely pint of Kingfisher lager each to start proceedings! Poppadoms and dips were brought out straight away. We decided on the mixed kebab to start. It came out on a hot sizzling skillet with a plate of salad. The mixed kebawas superb. All the various meats were moist, tender and tasty. I had Chicken Jalfrezi, rice and Keema Nan. My friend had Chicken Korma, rice and a Cheese Nan. Both the curries were lovely. Superb meal in a nice setting. Service was excellent by friendly, helpful waiters. Definitely going back and would recommend to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.
