Wasn't sure what to expect last time we went in there we were glared at had a frosty reception,rude and felt extremely unwelcome to the point of feeling you were a nuisance l haven't a clue what there problem was. I'm glad to say that with new owners they are the complete opposite.we had a nice relaxing time there after a long walk . This is a nice and friendly country pub. Good for walking to. Dog friendly. Although they've recently lost their kitchen but when we went they had a visiting pizza oven in a van. Delightful

Great atmosphere at the reopening. Amazing what you can do with a lick of paint and fresh cut flowers! Excited to see where the new landlord takes the pub :)I don't drink alcohol so can't comment on the beer, but most people appeared to be enjoying it. I had an alcohol free ghost ship.Kid-friendliness: There were children having a good times ; playing with the games available.
