Run by predominantly father, who is the chef, and sons who are front of house, this is Indian and Fish and Chip takeaway only.As such it is several levels above the rest, the Indian menu is a little different and all cooked fresh: my favourite being the Chingari Aloo, with coconut rice and a naan. The other great joy, is, for fans of the food, Bombay Duck may soon be available, and I love Bombay Duck!Lovely food, beautifully prepared.
Really excellent food from this indian takeaway, the food is really flavoursome and all the dishes I have tried so far have been really enjoyable and the staff are always friendly.Sadly I live 2 hours away but whenever I stay on my boat I treat myself to a nice meal. Thoroughly recommend:)

While staying in Shotley Gate we decide to try the Lasan Indian take away. A great selection of dishes to chose from. The food was delicious. Piping hot and freshly cooked. One of the best Indian meals we've had in years. We'll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended.
