I am an occasional visitor to Hadleigh and have haddock and chips at Lenny’s twice. The second was yesterday and they were just as good as the first so it was no flash in the pan, boom boom. It doesn’t seem to get the trade Grays up the road does but it’s hard to believe it’s any better. I have to be honest and say this was not my first choice for fish and chips. We are on holiday and I stupidly left my wallet at home. First choice only takes cash but Lenny’s accepts Apple Pay. Our cod, haddock and chips were all freshly cooked by friendly helpful staff. The portion size (large) was excellent and everything was well cooked. Tried a few local places for food and only found Lenny's after seeing recommendations on Facebook, just lovely fish and chips, we have found our new favourite takeaway, can't recommend you enough, lovely food.
