Found this place by pure luck after a 3 hour drive & having rude unfriendly service at the Kersey pub... We stopped here & the staff / landlady were so friendly & cheerful. Found us a table straightaway. Service & quality of the food was absolutely brilliant. Would definitely recommend this pub for food, drinks & very friendly happy people. Sirloin steak cooked perfectly & dessert menu was to die for ???????Kid-friendliness: Children & dogs are looked welcomed here
Superb hospitality from Tara and the staff.This place looks fantastic... Really clean and inviting.The king's head serves a huge selection of wines and bottled beers aswell as the usual tipples.A live fire really brings the warm cosy feel to the whole pub.This is a great pub with great people.Very tasty coffee ?

I went here with a friend on friday for the first time and we were both so impressed. My friend had the fish and chips and I had the aged angus steak cooked medium rare. The service was prompt, the waitress was attentive and friendly, and the food was so great. The steak was cooked to perfection, a good sized portion and so tasty. My friend said her food was great as well. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to eat in Hadleigh.
