Sonar Bangladeshi has always been a great curry house in the town, but last night we picked up a collection order for two and both of us believe it was the best curry we have ever had. Chicken Tikka Balti Jalfrezi and a Chicken Tikka Saali ? Thanks guys
Went to Ipswich to watch football and go theatre. Was looking for the Biryani Hut but could not find and stumbled upon this place. Looked more like a takeaway but had a few tables and chairs to dine in. Food was excellent and the guy very friendly.Unlicensed though so take own beers/wine.Really recommend.

I guess l will never have another chance to miss desi biryani, chicken tikka and curry ever again in Ipswich! Thanks to Sonar Bangla restaurant. Whenever I visit Ipswich, this place feels like my home.
